Hi, I have a 2005 freelander HSE diesel TD4 2.0, i've had it for six months and it has run fine, then one morning it wouldn't start, i called the AA who got it running, but told me not to turn the engine off as it probably wouldn't start again, i got it into a garage who are 4x4 specialists who have replaced the fuel pump and lines, it now starts but is running lumpy, i'm at the end of my tether, please can some one help. Mandy.
There are actually two fuel pumps, and a third for the injectors. If you had only one pump changed, the other may have packed it in because it was doing the work on both. I'd be checking that.
Test the injectors
