Try to look for fuel pump whether in order or not? You can test by open the fuel filter at the engine. If the filter doesnt have fuel probably the fuel pump needed to be replaced

I have a 2006 Nissan Sentra 1.8 and it is not starting. I checked out my Check Engine light and it said my Cam Shaft positon sensor is bad. So I replaced it but I think I fried my starter trying to kick it...

Sounds more like a dead battery. The one click you hear is the starter solenoid.
Turn on your headlights and try to start if your headlights go real dim your battery is dead.
If they stay bright then it could be your starter

Need to bypass ignition switch on nissan sentra

it should be underneath your car in between the firewall and the engine. Now you don't want to supply direct power to your starter because you'll end up frying it. However to just start the car once you've located the starter, get a long screwdriver with a plastic handle and connect the two wires with the screwdriver.

As for a long term fix, without investing the money to replace the necessary parts. You will need to attach a wire that can handle 12v to both wires on your starter separately. Then connect the other ends of both wires to a switch that can handle 12v, and mount that in your car somewhere. Then whenever you need to start your car just flip the switch on until the car starts then once it is started flip it back off.
I know this sounds like a lot but it is very doable with about $5 and a little bit of time.

I need to find the starter in a 96 nissan sentra and supply direct power to the solenoid to confirm that the ignitio switch is bad. who where is the starter and which wire do i supply the power to?

ase mechanic:
the starter is usually in front or back of engine. but always mounted next to the trans. to jump starter you have to apply voltage to small terminal, thats the ignition lead.

1990 nissan sentra wont start

It seems you have a timing problem. Have the engine timed properly. If that does not work it could be a craked rotor or distributor cap. have all these checked.
