Some of the Camaro/Firbirds had access to the fuel pump in the rear behind the rear pass seats on top of the hump. Some folks have learned to cut their own access in this area due to the amount of work involved in getting the tank out, as it can be a job. So pull the carpet up in the rear to see if yours has this access. If not you ether have to drop the tank or cut your own access, If you cut your own access you will need to make a good cover, you will need 3 brass  compression union fittings 5/16 inch I believe. You have to cut the fuel lines with a hack saw. You do not have room for a tubing cutter, they have to be cut close to each other, but leaving room to get the nuts on the fittings. It can be done this way but first time is very hard to do. Just remember you are playing with a fuel tank, no sparks, no flames, no grinders, no goofs. If done right, next time in is easy, takes about 45 minutes in out with new pump, if pump ever goes bad it can be replaced on the side of the road thru the trunk.

1996 pontiac firebird will start up and then it will die . The fuel pump is working.

Well the fuel filter would be an easy choice, but it could be something electrical.
You'll need to figure out if you are missing fuel pressure or spark when it stops running to know how to proceed.

I have a 93 pontiac firebird V6. The problem that i am having is the car will be running fine in route to my destination but as soon as i shut the car off and try to restart it when i get ready to leave it...

Maybe your over-fueling? I'd use a gage and check correct fuel pressure. Then with everything off, see if the fuel pressure will hold for a bit? If the pressure drops like a rock, you have a leak. You could pull the vac line off fuel pressure regulator, if gas in the line, regulator is faulty. Smell of your crankcase oil dipstick, if it smells like gas, either you don't change your oil and filter very often or you got a leak. After you fix the problem, have to change oil and filter as many times as it takes to get rid of gas. Give it a tune-up. Any applicable trouble codes?

My 1993 firebird will idel low and almost die then go high and repeat but it drives fine and its a manuel

Have you changed the in line fuel filter, sometimes the obvious get overlooked and looking for the more complicated solution, undo the fuel line pipe to the carburettor or fuel rail and switch on the ignition, You will need two people to do this. the pump will start pumping as soon as switched on, fuel should flow constantly, if not change the filter or your fuel pump might be faulty, hope this is of some help.

M.A.F. sensor went bad os so i thought. disconnected it, car ran fine no problems. about a month later it starts acting up. since then there's a new fuel pump, filter, plugs, cap an rotor. as well as a new...

If the M.A.F. sensor is disconnected it can't help the driveability of the vehicle in question. Do you get a service engine soon light with a code to this effect? I would change it and hook it up and see what happens.

1988 firebird formula 5.0 tpi car just died replaced feul pump, relay, fuse checked wiring changed module, coil pump wont turn on unless direct power car still wont start help please out of ideas

It sounds like you may have burned out your fusable link. It's a special wire that comes off the starter solennoid and is designed to burn off in the event of an overload. DO NOT REPLACE IT WITH REGULAR WIRE, THIS IS A LEADING CAUSE OF CAR FIRES.
You will want to check for what caused the overload condition that caused the fusable link to burn out in the first place.

88 Trans-Am GTA 350 5.7 TPI fuel injected...Car will start and run 10 mins and then just die. Wont start for 2 hours and then when it does start it only runs 10 mins then dies again. Dont know what to do...

Your fuel filter may need to be replaced and the other area that needs to ab addressed would be a ICM (ignition control module) going bad. Common for ether issues to cause you the same problems.
You can have your ICM tested at Auto Zone free of charge and you can also pick up the fuel filter from there.
Thank you for using fixya and good luck
