this car has no seperate filler as you fill it by pouring the atf down the dipstick tube,(really).because of the age of this car it is advisable to get the filters renewed/oil flushed and refilled.automatics should have the oil/filters changed about 100k/10 years.
Most likely caused by a dirty throttlebody! Remove the intake hose to the throttlebody and clean around the inside and the butterfly valve as well with some brake clean or similar product! Throttlebodies get gummed up by carbon build up effectively closing off the idle airgap under the butterfly valve!
ah why r u working on car replacing the head gasket when you know so little on working on cars. you MUST put gasket sealant at least when replacing any gasket
