No different than the last vehicle problem you had
Need to check for codes & diagnose the system with
the fault & find a problem & make the repairs
Trac Control is part of the ABS Braking System & may need professional tools, to get that modules codes,so save your time for free checking at the parts store, to be told nothing of value there
most times it is a sensor that is located around the brake area that needs replaced. Changing brakes will not fix abs light..ABS stands for anti brake system and has nothing to do with replacing brakes or rotors. It pervent your brakes from locking up and causing you to loose control of car. hope this helps and good luck and please rate this post....
Get in touch with the "Better Buisines Bureau" or your state "Attorney General". Those people have a way of making dealerships like that listen. I can't believe they are telling you that it's not a safety issue, when the pedal goes to the floor. You could try a different dealer, or go to an independent shop.
the trac shuts off when theres a check engine light or a abs light on, most likely theres a bad abs wheel sensor but you will have to have the abs computer scaned to find out which one it is. hope this helps.
when you pushed caliper piston back dirty fluid traveled through the abs system causing valve to stick ,try bleeding the front brakes and resetting the computer.
has to be scanned with the computer to find out what is cause the abs to shut down and the shut down trac control! could be a defect hub bearing ! if it was off for three day then came back on. sounds like it anyway! do assume it's good because you got it new! good luck
Check around all wheels to make sure the wires going to the wheel are intact and plugged in tightly. I had the same thing on my 2000 G.P. GT, in my case it was just a broken wire to one of the wheels.
Have the systems scanned for trouble codes with a scan tool. The ABS and Trac lights are on because there are fault codes stored.Access the fault codes, and they give you a direction that needs repaired. You likely have a wheel speed sensor damaged or just not working.Repair the speed sensor, clear the codes, all systems go.
