Windows are difficult to crank up in a Honda 1996 accord

I recently installed new speaker in a Honda 1996 Accord dx and now one of the windows is very hard to crank up and down (mainly up). I suppose I must adjust the windows and or lubricate the wires and pulleys for the windows... any tips? BTW these are NOT powered windows.

The back of the speaker is bigger than the original and its sticking out too much into the door panel and its pushing on the glass and that make its difficult for motor to push glass,speaker is your problem. good luck and thanks for using fix ya

I don't believe that the 1991 Accord DX had a Honda accessory alarm option, but regardless, factory or aftermarket, it was wasn't installed at the factory, it was installed at the dealer or an aftermarket store. Just remove it, and reattach any cut wires.

mike hi open the door agar pull the window winder towords urself not with force just gently the surroundin panal is just clipped together with plastic clips so put ur hand at the edge and pull gently and u will find it will come off easally then use a vice crips to close the window fully and then put wd40 on all the movin parts ok

No.... You're panel has to be removed, which really isn't too big of a deal. The problem will be completely obvious, more and likely your regulator and or those damn little plastic clips.

How to repair manual window crank case on Honda Accord DX 1996. The cables inside were tangled and had come out of place, so I re-wound the cables, but am having rouble with the spring.
Dont fight with one that is NOW DEFORMED Go to the Esed yard or better Dealer and Purchase a NEW REGULATOR & Install it. and NEVER have to Mess with it again!!!!
