You have to take the black plastic top off under the hood on the front.....than you take the whole headlight out, I believe it's only two bolts...there is opening for each light and they are pretty simple to change.
front or rear? rear can be accessed by lifting the hatch .then remove the screws from the lens . front either under the hood,or may need the remove the light
There are two 10mm bolts on top side and another one at its back side. However, removing these bolts isn't enough. You also have to remove a 10mm bolt at the front grill (on top, next to the headlamp assy) so the bumper/grill bezel can be moved a little to the side to allow you clearance to remove the headlamp assy.
look at position of bulb inside lamp assy then open bonnet feel behind h/lamp at location of indicator bulb you will locat the bulb wire socket turn this socket anti clockwise slightly it will release the socket complete with bulb pull it out then fit new bulb make sure bulb is correct one! ie the locating bayonet pins are same ? then refit socket with new bulb in reverse sequence test working
if its in the rear then open your hatch and gently pull back the interior carpeting to acess the plastic nuts thast hold the lens in remove them and push the lens out of the body of the car then twist the wiring harness counterclockwise to remove it from the lens, then change the bulb and reverse these instructions to re-install.
I changed a Right Front low beam bulb this morning on a 2007 Entourage. You have to remove the two bolts on top, use a 10mm socket, then you wiggle side to side and pull the entire headlight assembly forward. The headlight gets caught a little behind the grill so you have to pull sideways a little then forward with a little force. I heard some scraping plastic but nothing broke. Then you remove the black round cap in the back and change the bulb.
