I would say it's long overdue. i would think the manufacturer would recomend changing the trans fluid at 25,000-30,000 miles. the owners manual will have regularly scheduled maintenance routines listed.

hi, mercedes are good for 200,000 before you change transmission oil, hope this helps my E300 has done 350,000 and still changes fine as the oil is not a lubricant as such it lasts longer and does not lose it's viscosity, hope this helps you, thanks for useing fixya
