2001 Hyundai Tiburon. Starts very hard first time

2001 Hyundai Tiburon. Starts very hard first time of the day, then is fine the rest of the day. Once a week or so won't start at all. Sounds like it isn't getting gas. Have been to the repair shop multiple times and they can't find anything wrong.

Don't know if it applies to your car but modern fuel systems often have a 'cold start' valve that delivers more fuel when the engine is cold. Same function as a choke in earlier cars using a carburetor.

Have a 2001 Hyundai tiburon that won't start. Battery was replaced in July when had same problem and mechanic says clutch starter circuit switch needs to be replaced. Is this a legitimate diagnosis? Or...

If it's a standard transmission, this could be possible.Another way you can try is roll the car up to speed and throw in in gear and see if starts. The ignition must be on

Overheat 2001 hyundai tiburon

Only 2 parts remaining are the thermostat and waterpump. Always start with the thermostat when diagnosing an overheating problem. If the car is overheating constantly under all conditions and coolant is backing up into the reservoir, it's very likely to be the thermostat. If it only overheats at low speed or idling, it's more likely the waterpump.

Tools needed for replacing 2001 Hyundai Tiburon CV joints.

CV joints are not hard if you do some research. Get a shop manual first. You will need a good jack, two jack stands. I am not that fam. with the Hyundai, but some fwd cars have med/ large bearing retaining bolts so you will need 1/2 drive socket set up to say 33 mm. You will need a whole day or 2 to do this. set aside that much time in case of some road block. You have to pull both wheels and fender wells. On some cars you will have to pull the struts or the lower arms that hold them to the body to give room to pull out the cv assy. Do one at the time on some fwd's if you pull both the ring gears can fall out of sync and thats not good. Buy the complete cv axel rebuilt if you can. Work slow, take pictures as you go, be careful.

2001 tiburon: cranking but will not start ? No Spark

Based on what you've described so far, you are not familiar with the system you are trying to repair (not intended to insult you). Take/tow the vehicle into a Hyundai Service Center (dealership), pay the diagnostic fee. They will tell you EXACTLY what the problem is and what's needed to fix it (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.).
