Sometimes you can press and hold down the CD's forward and backward track buttons or play and eject buttons to release the CD. Contact your Chevy dealer and ask a Service Consultant if the Delco unit has this feature.

How to disassemble stereo dash board

The plastic frame around the radio is held in by clips. You should be able to "gently" pull and remove the frame. The radio is then accessable from here. If I remember right two or three bigger screws hold the radio in.

2005 MALIBU WON'T EJECT CD

Your best bet is to take the Cd player to a car audio store. Refrain from trying to stick anything else inside the CD slot because this can have long term effects while your eject problem may be something simple and temporary but can't be solved without being there. I might also suggest getting aftermarket stereos..they simply tend to have less problems I find!!!

How do you remove the cd player from the dash in my 2005 malibu.

You DON'T...besides a built in security system, it most likely controls the function of OTHER things in the car...LIKE THE AIRBAG!
Take it to a car stereo installation shop and ask them to remove and install the radio you bought couldn't be more than $75 and it will save you alot of grief.
Good Luck

Stuck CD in the multi CD player of 2004 Chevy Malibu Maxx

The only thing that is left for you to do is to remove the stereo and then disassemble it and remove it yourself. A little daunting but needs to be done. Sounds like it went in wrong and then became jammed

I have a cd stuck

Disconnect the negative side of your battery for about 2 to 5 minutes and then hook it back up and the player will automatically eject the CD
