You will need to get the serial number from the sticker on the case of the radio, requiring removing the radio.

You can call Mitsubishi or a dealer with the serial number and they will provide an unlock code.

You can also post the serial number in a new question on FixYa, and myself or another Mitsubishi employee can get the code for you.

the only way i know to get the code is bring the car and proof of ownership to the dealer they will give you the code most of the time for free
