My Mercedes- Benz A140 1999 is making a engine tapping Sound??

My Merc A140 1999 is making a engine tapping noise. I've changed the oil and oil filter today does anyone know why its still doing it?

    did you put enough oil in it? And did you let it run for about 30 seconds after you changed oil?

    did you ever find out what the problem was as i have the same ,done a oil change -flush new filters etc tapping noise sounds like a diesel

Car wont start, Merc/Benz C240 2001
it could be a number of things. oil pressure switch, fuel pump relay or fuse. fuel pressure switch/regulator. something like this would help you find the fault https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mercedes-Benz-MB-OBD2-CAN-BUS-Fault-Code-Reader-Scanner-diagnostic-scan-tool-UK/221097686022 just to read the fault codes.

Got a 311cdi mercedes sprinter ,mileage is 250k drives well but engine is making loud tapping noise & there is oil in radiator. please help.
Your low on oil (the tapping noise) because its in your cooling system. Your vehicle uses the radiator as a cooling system for your engine oil. It runs through it to help cool the engine oil. If you have oil in the radiator, you need a new radiator before you cause more damage to the engine and the cooling system.

How to oil change 2005 Mercedes Benz E320 Cdi
Mercedes makes it easy! Get a 10 quart oil pump and draw the oil out of the dipstick tube. The oil filter is on top so can be removed with a filter wrench and easily replaced. No need to jack the car up or crawel under. No fuss no mess and a 10 minute oil change!!!

front of the engine. on top. If you cant find the filter, what makes you qualified to change the oil. With the money it took to buy a car like this, why get cheap? Be sure to use the correct oil, motor oil is special for that car.
