There could be a cable running from motor to lock which might be broke or the moto might be worn out causing it to operate but not work properley

Same truck same problem. Plastic arm on the hatch actuator broke. Had to peel back the inner trim to manually pop it and replace it. But, my buddy melted the broken piece back on the original and I bet it would work.

I can not get the tailgate to open in 2003 chevy blazer 2dr? It gets power to it because i can hear it when i push the button?

Inside the rear tail gate hatch should be a small access panel. Remove the access panel so you can manually open the rear hatch by grabbing the small metal rod linkage. They put this access panel so if the door motor actuator goes bad you can still open the rear hatch. After you open the rear hatch manually by the linkage rod. Remove the entire inside hatch trim panel so you can see all the inner workings of it and self diagnos. It sound like the electric door motor actuator has gone bad. This is pretty common for any GM product. Hope this hopes.

Ler03836@rear hatch will not open lock seems to be releasing. almost think that something may be stuck at striker plate?

Had the same problem removed the hatch interior panel, removed a little grim from the working parts, loosened the 10mm bolt securing the lock motor, manually worked all the parts and sprayed a bit of wd-40. Its been about a week and no problems since. I did this because of two problems 1 using the remote the lock wouldn't fully disengage (but could hear it working) and 2 would also encounter problems trying to manually unlock with the key.

Rear hatch of 2007 magnum will not open. Everything seems to unlock but rear hatch does not disengage.

If you hear a click in there it is probably latch linkage fell off. If no click at all inside the hatch, then could be the solenoid or the solenoid wire fell off.

I have a 99 chevy tahoe that will not lock the doors unless I use the keychain remote or puch each lock down, same with unlocking. The lock button on both the driveside and passenger side do not work. Also...

With regards to the lock bittons on the driver and passenger side its the button themselves aka switch(s) that is your culprit. Why because the remote is getting the motor to open and close them . The only thing that doesn't is the buttons /switches themselves .
Now the rear latch a little different animal. Either the locking mechanism on the door itself is defective or the motor ( the thing you hear clicking) is weak.
This one your gonna need a shop manual for to do the correct testing. But being that te remote will not move it and neither will the manual push button I would lean towards the locking mechanism on the hatch/door its self. Use the shop manual its not that bad of a fix if you have a little patience.

Problem The rear hatch door will not unlock.

First, on the rear hatch, there is an actuator. On FX, when you close the trunk, it kind of **** the hatch closed all the way. When you press lock on the remote, this same actuator locks it as well.
Now,
1) when you unlock the car from the inside, go back there and press the button to open the hatch door manually, do you here any noises?
2) Close all doors, go back close to the hatch button and using the remote , lock the car and then unlock the car. you should hear a sound from the actuator locking and unlocking the lock on the rear hatch!

If you don't hear this, your actuator is inop.
Next step would be to check the fuses inside the car, on the left bottom driver side, and outside on the battery compartment.
It might be just a fuse.
If all fuses check ok, your actuator is most likely gone! Not ea expensive fix, just time consuming!

NOW, if you can hear the noises, then something is either broken inside the actuator or one of the cables is loose!
Hope that helps.
Also, what year and miles on your fx?

Rear hatch will not unlock on my 05 Denali

Check the unlock mechanism for the hatch. These are controlled by an electrical motor pulling a cable. If the cable came loose you might or might not hear the click click that it makes. I would also check the fuses and relays related to the system. Usually if you can get the interior panel off all the innards are exposed. I would suggest pulling that panel off, then triggering the keyless remote and see if anything moves, that might pinpoint where it has gone bad.
