The clicking noise is the starters solenoid making that sound. If the battery & starter connections are clean and tight along with a fully charged battery the solenoid is at fault
Make sure there are no leaks and that the system is full to capacity. After the vehicle has warmed up check radiator hoses for temperature differecial also check heater core hoses. A significant difference in temperature may indicate a plugged heater core or thermostat failure
when you switch the speed of the fan, does it get louder and or quite.
