I am having trouble installing a kenwood radio in my 2002 dodge durango. After I hook everything up, the radio powers on and everthing seems to work but I can't hear any sound. I talked to a friend who said I need to intregat the infinity amp that can factory installed. He didn'nt know how to help me do that. Can you?

are you sure you have the speaker connection is pushed home into the rear of the radio ? if it is new and you have the wiring correct then it may well be the radio its self so take back for an refund or exchange
most of the time when the blinkers are not working and have checked everthing its most likely the switch itself get u a hanes bookthey help out alot when having trouble
It is most likely in the radio i have had to replace several of mine, you could send it in to be fixed ,or replace with after market one.hope this is some help .Thank You.
Outkastroost, I had the same problem last year with my '03 Durango. It happened shortly after we installed a new stereo. The solution was to disconnect the negative battery terminal for about 30 seconds to reset the computer. It's been working fine for a year now after that. I hope this works for you, too.
You can buy adaptor plugs that allow a simple hook up at most car stereo places. However, when you increase the power going to the speakers you also have to replace the speakers to handle the higher power or you'll toast them.
