1999 Toyota Camry V6 with 60,000 miles was acting strange and now won't start. Three weeks ago, started up, worked fine in reverse, would not go when put in drive ... put it into first and went fine .. put it into drive after first and it finally started going ... a warning light came on briefly a few minutes later ... the whole car one that comes on when a bulb is out. The not going when in drive has not happened since.
But a week after that, the same warning light came on again shortly after starting to drive and went off when I got to store. Started up to go home and light was off .. got home without warning lights coming on.
Then three days later, car would not start but the headlights would come on.
Charged it up and it started.
Four days later, will not start again.
Believe it or not it looks like a Toyota battery in there - could it really be the original equipment battery installed in the car 11 years ago at manufacture? I do not remember replacing but I could have.
Do you think a battery replacement would fix all these problems or do I have multiple issues going on here? Thanks for any insights!!
