For the 3 spark plugs in front:
1. You would have to remove the plastic protective cover (this cover is silver&red w/ the words "nissan and v6 3000")
2. unplug connector and remove coil (DO NOT mix up the coils, keep the same coils on the same cylinder)
3. Remove spark plug

Rear 3 plugs: located on the rear of the intake (the black pipes atop the engine). there are 3 openings at the rear of the black intake pipes, each opening has a coil mounted.
1. Unplug coil connector and remove coil
2. remove spark plug (you'll need a long extension)
***Installation is reverse, be sure not to over tighten the plugs!! Use anti-seize compound on all the new plugs threading. Hopefully this helps!!

go to parts store and buy a spark plug wire remover so you don't brake the plug wires unless your going to use them, and be sure to use dialectic grease on the end of the boots.

SOURCE: spark plugs

They are under the plastic covers that are in the center of each valve cover, there should be 2 or 4 allen key screws holding the covers on, when u get them loose u will see 3 coil packs under each cover, thease supply the spark for the plugs, u must unplug the wire harness from each one then remove the 2 screws that hold it down, slide it out vertically because there is a long stalk that goes down to the plug, u will need an extention on your rachet to reach the plug. The front 3 are easy and the rears are harder and require some tight space jockying but it is not impossible for someone with moderate mechanical skills. good luck !!!

SOURCE: CHANGED SPARK PLUGS NOW HESITATING & RUNS

chances are an ignition wire was damaged when you tugged on it to remove it from the old plug .. the ignition cables have a high resistance wire inside (not a solid wire) this is not hard to damage .. check to make sure each wire is properly seated on the plug .. its easy to not get it on all the way since you cant see it ..

Why is my nissan maxima loosing power when driving

This sounds like you may need to change your spark plugs. I am not sure of your fuel of choice, but 93 which is a high octane should work better, and dont for get to warm the engine before driving.

I have a cylinder #4 misfire code #P0304 on a 2000 Nissan maxima. How do I fix this problem?

Try this first: change spark plug for that cylinder and replace spark plug wire for same cylinder.

How to replace spark plugs on v6 1997 nissan maxima

there should be 6 coils 3 on the front and 3 on the back(front ones may be hid by the plastic peice that says 3.0 24 valve), just take 2 bolts per coil pack out and there will be a 6 in coil going down into the valve cover to the spark plug

I have a 2000 nissan maxima and it is missing code says number 4 is misfiring what should i do or how do i check it

You probally need to have your plugs changed. If your car does not have have a distributor then it is possible that it could be be the the ignition pack that sits directly on top of the spark plug.
