Try getting your codes read from a parts store like auto zone or pep boys... i am going to bet this sounds like a crank sensor

It appears that this is a common problem with 92 buick regals. If you do not have a service engine light, then you have a leak in the vacuum hoses which I believe go to the fuel pressure regulator and several other places. Once you get this fixed and you have a service engine light, the code will tell you its the crank position sensor( the one behind the pulley). Apparently they fail when they get hot. You can verify by pouring water on it when it fails, and it should start right up. It took me a while to find it.

1992 Buick regal running with miss

I would do a compression test to see if all cylinders are good, and no internal mechanical damage has occurred.
If compression is good, check for possible intake manifold leak that especially affects the right bank- the bank with 1, 3, and 5 cylinders.
No way I can think of that spark would be different on the right bank, so it could be wrong air/fuel mixture for that side, or possible loss of compression that is causing the misfires.

1999 Regal GS -stalls, starting trouble, won't shift now

the batt is suspect...take it to autozone, or other place, they'll check it out free......the shifting out of park is a seperate issue, the pawl for the steering/shifter is not working properly....did you notice if the steering wheel would turn when the shifter is stuck?....probably not....when this happens try to turn the wheel back and forth-not hard but not gently- a little graphite dust sprayed in there would help.......hope this helps you out

1992 Regal sometimes won't start after stopping.Have to wait about 5 mins to restart. This is an intermittent problem. It has also stalled on me waiting in traffic at idle. Had to wait 5 mins and then it...

Check routing of fuel lines (too close to heat source like muffler, catalytic converter - check for missiong heat shield around exhaust). Sounds as you are having a fuel vapor-lock.
Could be ignition position sensor coil (not ignition coil) but not so likely.

Fans wont starton my 1992 buick regal

First things to check would be fuse(s) at dash & under hood, as well as rad fan relay & possibly coolant temperature sensor.

Car runs for 5 mins ,stalls, sometimes starts and sometime stalls

try checking the coil igniter, if this is faulty and it gets hot it will really make your car die but when its cold it will make your car run again.

1993 buick regal start and stall

The average life of a battery is 3 good years, regardless how BIG, or how it cost. Anything after that is a blessing. Personally, I would replace the battery ASAP, and then with a FULLY CHARGED battery. Then drive, and see if the problem still remains. Hope this helps
