The speedometor is not working on my cadillac and also my gas gage and i can't find the fuse for the 2 problems

Have you checked all the fuses??
or it could be that you have pulled on the wiring loom a little to much and unplugged something double check all plugs and fuses see if that helps

i dont have a solution for this problem. my car does the same thing. infact the only reason i bought this pos was the low mileage. little did i know it was bs. let me know if you find a solution to this.

Could be a fuse or loose connector plug

turn the headlight switch pull it out then turn it. if that dosnt work check all fuses. under the dash and the other side under the dash were the glovebox is. if all are good u need a new cluster

sounds like you have a cluster problem, you checked the cluster fuse in the fuse panel? If fuses are ok it may be a more serious problem right inside the instrument cluster

Depends.. If you touched multiple fuse ports with the pliers then yes..

costs like $100 an hour for automotive electrician. use a curcit breaker (looks like a fuse) its silver put it in wher the blown fuse is. buy a compass. and runn the compass over the wiring . when the compas moves in the direction of wiring its in that area. a short curcit creats a magnetic feild.

You need to pull the dash and check the guages look for any burning or melting. You may just need to replace the pannel in your dash, pretty easy work. If not start checking the wires and cables that come out of your faulty guages.

its either the cluster, or its not getting power, look in the back for a lose wire if u dont find 1 you probably need a cluster

I would check the fuses and relays along with the ground wires. Something as minor as a ground wire can throw everying into havoc so i would start there and work you way up to the ECM.
