Check the starting circuit. Start at the battery. Load test it (or have the auto parts store do it...most perform this test for free). If that is ok, check the wires to the starter solenoid. Look for loose connections, bolts, and/or corrosion. If you have power there, and it will not crank, It should be your starter or solenoid. It will be sold to you rebuilt or new and will come complete as one unit as the solenoid is integral to the starter. Make sure you do not have an alarm that is armed. I think that is a non issue on this particular year. My best guess is that the starter needs a replacement and that you should service the connections from thje battery to the starter and be back on the road.

My Toyota Corolla 1.6 XLI 1993 won`t start. When I open the door the alarm goes off but without any sound. After a while the indicators stops blinking, then I try to start it again, but it doesn't even...

I'd start by reprogramming your alarm. You'll never get it to crank without first disabling it or removing it. Your owners manual will give detailed instructions as to how to do this.

I had the same happen to my 94 Corolla, it cut off while driving. Change out your distributor and adjust idle before tightening down.

How do i check fuel pump on 1993 toyota corolla

THis is normally done with a pressure gauge on the fuel rail. Do you suspect a fuel delivery problem? Take off the air filter and spray a little carb cleaner in the intake manifold and crank. If it tries to start you are going in the right direction possibly fuel pump. Use extreme caution not to spreay too much. If the car backfires you may see a backflash flame!
