See page 64 of manual...open and close rear window using rear door's window switch. It will reset the driver's door master, which will work as it should.
although all the doors etc may be closed over use and wear the plastic begins to wear and bend even break so something is showing its not making a good closed circuit ...try one switch at a time to see if it goes out including trunk glove-box etc.also make sure to click the gas cap three full turns if still nothing try disconnecting the+positive terminal on the battery for 3 minutes to allow the {OBC} on board computer to reset itself ...
first thing you should do is try to have a shop open the door with a beak in kit. if they can't get the door open this way the door trim panel will have to be pryed off. it is difficult to do with the door closed but it can be done. the trim pane will probably be ruined during removal. once the trim panel is removed the door latch can be released from the inside.
when you change the battery you must reinitialize all the windows, sunroof and rear gate. you must operate each window from its own button, holding it to a count of 4 at the very bottom and very top. for the sunroof you must hold the button in the close position and let the roof go thru its complete cycle. the rear gate must be opened manually and closed by pushing close button on gate.
The buttons inside the vehicle are syncronized/programmed with the operatus that physically opens and closes your garage door, not the operner... The garage door opener needs to have a "programming" feature switch that must be set to "programming" before you can program the buttons inside the car...
There are step by step instructions in your owners manual... This could be a 2 person operation...
