your fuel pump may be that cause, have some one turn da key while you listen for fuel pump by gas tank, no noise pump not working, then get a rubber mallet and has soon they open ingition switch hit gas tank pump may star working may not but you will kown per shure your pump is bad
Not sure what car you have, but some cars have an inertia switch that shuts off the fuel pump in an accident. Check you manual to see if your car has one and where it is so you can reset the switch.
90% chance the cable is streched...so...this is what you do....take a small pair of needle nose pliers.....locate the cable that is on the plastic handle...it's gonna have a little metal crimp on it....and simply pull on it...that should release it for ya....hopefully the cable isn't broke...they normally just strech
you should try a smaller hose like 3/8 an try to work it back and forth if that wont work look under the car where the fill line meets the tank sometimes theres a rubber hose where u can disconnect the fill line at the tank and gas cap then put aside and siphon closer to tank
