I had the same issue. Dodges tend to have some faulty transmissions. Usually it's not too bad. I had to replace my transmission valve body. Usually a sensor or solenoid go bad. Turn the key on/off three times and it will display a code. Google the code or take it to a shop.

Fan clutch on trailblazer

Most bad bearings don't make a noticeable noise until they are operated at a higher rpm. Probably why when you unplug it you don't hear it and then when you plug it back in and the fan clutch engages you hear it again

I have a Toyota Highlander 2005.it will start but when I put on drive it is har to move forward till it died up

the RPM is what matters first , RPM of ENGINE.
in drive it fails and in R, and PRNDL in low too? not told
if drive fails in 1st gear and RPM rises way to high that is a bad tranny
if how ever, the RPM are low in DRIVE that is a weak engine.
easy no, a very simple test.
high rpm (lacking tachometer in cluster) is heard as engine racing fast or some say screaming, super loud, and going nowhere.
brakes all off, tires not hitting a curb
not on ice (LOL) I can't see your or car drive ikt so .... my answer can be dead wrong, me not driving, OK?
ask dad to tell you or grandpa, or any old guy. (drivers)

I have a 1996 toyota corolla with a noise coming from the engine.is sounds like a diedel engine when you hear it.it only does it when driving off on low rpm with load such as a/c on.

Sounds like ac compressor may be going bad. Try to confirm thus by using a long screw driver. Place the screw driver on the compressor and place the other to your ear. You should be able to use this to determine exactly where the noise is coming from. Obviously be cautious around the moving parts of the engine.

Check engine light goes on after I rev engine. when rpm is low light comes on. why?

Dear friend. This issues appears when we have a fuel pump problem. I had the same issue. When the fuel pump pressure is low, the eletronic injection control send a sign for EPC control to blink the engine ligth. With rpm hight you increase the pressure automtic due to hight rotation motor applied on the fuel pump. To solve it, change the fuel pump, check if you have any hose blocked with dirt and so on. Afterthat verify the eletronic injectors nozzles and the timing belt position.
Hope to help you.
Regards.

Grindings sound

it could very well be the transmission. if the sound leads you to the left side of the vehicle, if that is the side you are dealing with, then it's entirely possible

Sounds like an Exhaust Manifold leak on only one cylinder. The Gasket is probably blown out. Check around where manifold is bolted to the engine. Any leaks are usually evident by a black sooty deposit.

Transmision fluid leaking

Hi, it sounds like the leak is coming from the torque converter seal. when the engine is running the converter is spinning and keeping it from leaking. check the front of the trans and inside of the inspection cover.

While driving 2ooo silhouette van, the rpm gauge goes erratic and the change engine oil light comes on, followed by battery light, then it feels like transmision slips or en gine stalls and comes back on...

sounds like your alternator is about to go out, not feeding enough currant to the electrical components that need it, i.e. ECM , ESM..and so on.
you may want to have that checked or replaced.
always a good idea to replace the battery when replacing the alternator.
