Yes this happens because the radio enters a security mode (anti theft) after you disconnect the battery terminals to it, I'm afraid you can not find that code on internet, you can either find it on your car's owner's manual or go to a Honda dealer ship and they'll provide you the security code for your car, not a big deal. Hope it helps and please rate the answer, as it helps me with my general ratings, thanks! P.S. comment if you need more advice

Go to this web site. There are instructions there for how to get your radio code, and get your radio back up and running.... Basically, you'll need to provide a vin number from your Honda, and a Serial Number from you Stereo. If they match, the web site gives you a access code to re-activate your Stereo. The vin is on the dash, driver side, can see it from outside the car. For the Stereo serial number, see the instruction on the web site, but basically, you put the key to auxillary, turn stereo on to where you see CODE on the display, press and hold pre-select buttons 1 and 6 and turn radio off and then on. Your serial number will display, 8 digits. Sometimes 4 digits at a time.... Good Luck to you....

I have a problem with the code of the stereo honda element 2004

Usually the stereo code is needed for accessing any kind of function of the stereo.
If the radio code is not located in the owners manual there are other places that might have the code displayed.

Check the fuse panel inside cover or the sides of the glove box door.
(This is where I put the radios code sticker for when I am performing new vehicle deliveries)

A honda dealership would be the only option to make use of this problem.

What the Honda dealership does is find the stereo's serial number then the advisor is able to locate the radio's 4 - 6 digit code.

On some models the serial number is found by holding the #1 and #6 radio preset simultaneously, then hitting the power button.

At this point the radio's display should show the serial number and the radio code can be retrieved by the advisor.

I replaced the battery in my 2004 Honda Element and now my radio needs a code to work again. I bought the car used and never got any code. I've looked in several places where I read the code is sometimes...

You will need to go to your dealer and ask them to give you the code. If you are sure that you have the right serial number ask the service advisor for the code.

Battery dead on 2004 Honda had to be jumped now radio crashed

Any time battery is disconnected the radio has to have a code reentered. This is a theft prevention issue. You should have gotten the code if you bought the car new, if not call the dealer and he can provide it.

Re key less entry have no idea but could be same issue.
