no country told (so sure you get wrong manuals ,sure)

you ask for a vacuum diagram, and out of context.
why is this needed. someone did sabotage:? engine PULLS. etc.

vacuum parts on cars can fully SMOG related, by each country on earth and 2.4L engine. real name below.

we can not see what you see or worry about.

Need a vacuum diagram for 1980 Buick Regal 231 3.8L

You will need a Vacuum hose diagram to hook thes up correctly. There should be a diagram on the hood or raiator cover of the vehicle. If the diagram is missing you will have to take ALL info from your car (Year,Make, Model, Engine size, Engine code) and obtain the diagram from a dealer.

I presume you have the 300D diesel. If this is the case, you will need 6 quarts for non-turbo, and 8 quarts for the turbo 300DT. Both include a filter change.

There is a junction block about 6 inches in front of the battery on the fender, there should be battery voltage on the big wires. The small wire is the starter solenoid. Front the junction block, the power goes to the light switch then to the ignition switch.

Engine specs The 1980-1984 Caddy pickup used the following engines:

• 1.0 petrol
• 1.3 petrol
• 1.5 petrol
• 1.5 diesel (1980)
• 1.6 petrol
• 1.7 petrol
• 1.6 diesel w/turbo in Canada and abroad
• 1.8 petrol

You have to drain you fuel tank completely, and refill with diesel only.
Hopefully it didn't already cause too much damage to the glow plugs and engine in general.

'80 Monte Carlo, a good ride. A Chilton's book is a good investment. It will show you wiring and vacuum hoses and how to do the brakes, etc.

There is a vacuum pump on these since this engine does not develop any.It is driven by the fan belt.On the left front of engine i believe. Notorious for failure. Place a vacuum gage in /on suction port, should get a mimum of 18 in. hg. If ok check for broke hoses ,plastic lines,and fittings.Hope this helps. Please rate me.Thanks.
