Hello. The ECM in your Mazda Miata may be at fault. Most ECM (Electronic Control Modules) 'shut off' power to the fuel pump when they start to malfunction; then they shut off power to the ignition circuit. I, highly believe, if your Mazda's ECM is replaced with another one, your car will run again. Most all 'modern' cars are like that. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.
The above is a good explanation of accessing the mirror but to answer your question directly, yes, they will fit. All the 90-97 mirrors are interchangeable with the exception of installing later power mirrors onto a 90-91 Miata where it wasn't a factory option. They will mount up fine but do require enlarging the center hole where the wires need to run.
