the 16valve 4 inject MPI
the 8valve 1 injector TBI
and the 1993 is the year and 92 may not have an IAT, 16v
all other 16v the IAT is in the air cleaner box, in plain site
the 8v all have IAT and are all in one place

why not post to the correct forum.??????
the 1992 suzuki does not have a 6 cylinder engine.
so that tells me you are on the wrong forum
at least get the maker right., and model if savvy .
asking Suzuki folks Mercedes benz questions is problematic.
its for you own good. or get no useful help.
but on all MPI engines we use a NOID lamp
got one?, if not. get one, they are a mandatory tool in any shop.

No voltage to throttle body on a suzuki samuri

this this all stock car, as most sammi are vastly modified, now.
common mod is put in Sidekick G16B engine.
so is it stock 1.3L?
that be first question, and if car is EFI and is stock or G16
the TPS needs 5vdc from the ECU.
if the ECU 5vdc ref pin is dead there are only 2 causes.
1: ECU bad.
2: this line is shorted.

1992 had 3 engines. 1.3 , 1.6 TBI and 1.6 MPI
throttle body or Multipoint injection (4 injectors) vastly different.
ECU TBI , pin a23 is 5vdc, if the map shorts, this can blow out the 5vde regulator,
ECU MPI. pin B6 runs only the TPS. sensors. (simple)

best practice here is to post displacement of engine,
and ECU part number. ECU suffix is all we need. and bingo.
I have all Suz, part. number, in my book. for all parts and all ECU.
(usa and canada)

The ECU shops (cardone is tops in USA) the first test
is the 5v pin, #1 off the dime. that.
the Sidekick ECU 8valve ECU. TBI , the 5vdc pin loves to burn the
pcb trace to kingdom come.

Motor has no power

the 1996 has 4 injectors, its MPI , EFI injected.
low power.
1: number one reason , skipped 60k mile tune up.
and of that, the timing belt slipped, and now compression is not
170psi but is 80. its like 10,000 post for this on the Suzuki forum.
compression tests fail, HARD.
2; same as one skipped tune up. (spark parts and filters).
3: EGR main valve stuck open. this service is 50k listed. for this.

4: bad fuel, bad injection.

injection.
injectors clogged. or leaking.
there are basic tests for this, called injector leak down checks.

but no EFI system works right with #1,2,3 bad.

How to replace suzuki g16b head on g16a block

the mounts are the same.
Is this a EFI car or CARB , you never said.
IF EFI"
but your 8v ECU will never run any 16v HEAD
the G16B ,means 16v in non USA countries, (only clue yet)
and has a unique ECU, and all harness in dash and motor.
the head is unique, 8 more valves, and 4 injectors not 1.
and has unique intake and exhaust header.
the 16v block has unique pistons with 4 cuts on top. 8v blocks
dont work with 8v heads and reverse. short of fly cutting.

the block casings are the same. and crank, and bearings.

no year stated or county but in Europe they have up to 8 engine types and many with carbs up until 2001 or even later..

the old mounts bolt to the block perfect due to blocks is same.

Why does the overdrive light on my 1993 suzuki sidekick flash

OD flash means the 4speed, electronically shifted (TCM) is seeing an error, it has flash codes , pull them and see. what they are.

The power wire for my voltage condenser broke off?
try to be more exact. tell the exact place and wire color.
the 93 had 2 engines, 8v and 16v the latter is MPI with 4 injectors the former has 1 injector. which do you have.?

Engine stalling is a second problem.
and can be caused by 50 diffr. things,
but the top #1 is, EGR main , stuck open.

The fule injector is not getting any power is there any thing in betwin the ECU and the injector? 1992 suzuki sidekick 1.6 EFI 8V

most fuel injectors have a continuous power supply with the key on. they are controlled on the ground side by the ecm. there is no relay or anything between the ecu and the injectors. there is a lot of wiring though and there are fuses which supply power to the injectors.
