You should have to turn the bulb counter clockwise to unlock it from the housing.

ECCS stands for Electronic Concentrated Control System, and this is a known issue.

If fuses 'keep blowing', you need to find the reason why power is shorting to earth. In my view, you will need an auto-electrician.

The wires go to it through a plug in connector. Unless it was forced it can only go one way.
