If it's like my 1990 cadillac deville, get pliers and pull up on the window while pushing the switch up for the window. There could be a bad motor. How much? I don't know. It will vary from shop to shop.

it sounds like a relay or fuses bad or it could be the main power switch for the windows on the drivers side door bad i hope this helps you

most likely the switch if the motor works down in the down position- that mean it works. Dosnt mean that the regulator cant be bad too. id try the switch first

blow fuse or window switch is bad

If your windows don't work.
Remove the door panel
I will guarantee you ,the window regulator is worn out.

First remove and meter out the door panel window switch
Second check regulator
Third bad motor

u may have a bad window switch or bad motor in the door also check the wiring from where it leaves the door and goes under the dash

try to look at stress point on door by handle normally two screws and under neath panel to screws also disconnect side panel for side mirror door of using panel popper

Sounds like a bad switch. It works going down but not up. Try messing with the switch then go from there

the window switches are in a cluster of four correct? If you hear the motor then the regulator is bad inside the door. if you don't hear the motor then the four cluster switch needs to be replaced. It should be a little over one hundred dollars for the cluster.
