Put the sea foam in your tank usually I add some every 6 months it works well check out the wires on your starter they maybe corroded check your battery terminals and clean them up.
The only thing I can suggest is cleaning the terminals on your battery and cables make sure the battery is charged turn on your key and see if you have lights in the dome and headlights if you do it's a starting issue
Same thing happened to me. Turned out to be a blown Alt fuse (under the hood behind the battery, you'll have to unbolt the whole fuse box though. That fuse is bolted in from underneath) and a blown am2 fuse (look underneath the dash of the driver side from inside the car). I switched those out and the car started right up
Sounds like a cable to the transmission is not adjusted up right, and/or the neutral safety switch is not adjusted right, if this applies to your Toyota Corolla.
Tap on the starter as you try and start the engine,if it trys to turn over, then the starter is bad for sure,if it does not,it still can be the starter, remove it and have it checked. If this was helpful, please rate, thank you.
check your injectors and spark plugs for damage or dirt would be a start then i would do a compression test on each cylinder to check for a cracked head gasket
Sounds like the starter may be going out if so its around $180-275 to fix but ez to fix imo...when it fails to start does it even turn over or just click?
