Passenger window won't work using the driver side control switch

The passenger side window won't work using the driver side controls on my 2006 Mazda 6. Everything was fine until we changed the car battery. Any suggestions on how to reset?

Open the window with the local button and keep the button pressed for 3 seconds after it has fully opened. Then close the window and keep the button pressed for 3 seconds after it has fully closed. This calibrates the position of the window which it lost when you changed the battery. Good luck

It sounds like it could be the window solenoid, or the window motor. It's unlikely the switches on both doors are bad. Check the solenoids and motors...

I can only help by telling you to check voltage and ground circuits. You check voltage by using a test lite, see the fuse in diagram, not only check the fuse, check the fuse circuit for voltage.
To check ground, you can still use the test lite, one end comes from voltage, the other end you touch to ground wire, the actual wire not the insulation, if the lite comes on, at least you know the ground is good enough to turn on the lite.
You can see voltage wire color coming from fuse. The ground wire not in the picture, black with yellow tracer.
on the hinge side of driver door is usually a wiring harness going into the driver door, probably has a protective covering, move cover back far enough to find the wire colors you want to check.
You open/shut driver door so much, sometimes those wires may break?

Hi, the master control from the driver's side is not working, will the passenger's work if I swap them?

{: ) -- I think you are referring to the door lock/window master control switch. You cannot swap them, since the passenger door switch uses different connector and configurations compared to the driver door switch.

Can't control passenger window in mazda 6

Passenger window lost programing. To reprogram, turn the key on, go to the passenger side and with the passemger switch run the window all the way down and hold switch in down position for 2 seconds, then run all the way up and hold in up position for 2 seconds, then repeat again within 5 seconds. Should work from drivers side master switch now.

New battery in 06 mazda 6

1. Turn ignition switch to "on" position.
2. Open passenger window completely from passenger side window switch.
3. Close passenger window completely from passenger side window switch, and hold switch for an additional 2 seconds.
4. Turn ignition back to "lock" position.

That's it. Works like a champ. And here you thought it was more than just a battery dying....I did.
