2001 chrysler 300m engine number location

Generally .... the engine number will be always be stamped on the engine block just below the cylinder head. A number of Chrysler engines have it on the rear left side (driver side if not transverse mounted) ... but it can be on the front too. The key is to look right below where the head mates to the block. You may have to scrape/wire brush to see it. Attached video link shows on an older mopar smallblock engine.
Also ... depending on what you are looking for the VIN number (much easier to access) can tell a bit about the engine. In the series of numbers and letters, the tenth from the left in the VIN number denotes the model year and the eighth is the engine code.
Good luck on your troubleshooting

How do I determine which is cylinder 6?

would need make and model to be sure. I am assuming this is a V6. In most cases the cylinders are numbered left to right front to back. (engine's Front, not vehicle front). In the case of a rear wheel drive vehicle number 6 would be the cylinder at the rear of the engine compartment on the right side. In the case of a front wheel drive, where the engine is mounted sideways then 6 would be on the front head, and the right most cylinder.

I need to jack up the motor and cant find the mounts. im trying to take out the oil pan

Not sure what engine you have , but if it is a tranverse mounted engine , the mounts are probably at the top of the engine one on each side. Jamed between the shock tower and the motor.

How do you know which cylinder is numder 4 on a 2000 chrysler 300m

Chrysler numbers like GM. #1 is front right as you look at it from the front the engine. Number 4 would be the middle left bank as you look from the front of the engine (called the right bank in the literature).

I have a 2001 chrysler 300m I need to know where the #2 cylinder is located. Thank You

Assuming you have a 3.5 liter engine, the number 2 cylinder is located on the driver side of the engine, the first cylinder closest to the radiator.

Which cylynder is the number 1 on a 1999 chrysler 300m? I need to change the #2 fuel injector and don't know which cylinder is which

Cylinder #1 is on the right bank of the engine. So if you are looking at the front of the engine(where the serpentine belt is) it will be on the left. The right bank is the firewall side of the engine.

Is the middle cylinder on the passenger side the #3 cylinder? If not what one is the #3 cylinder on a chrysler 300m 3.5

Tis is a 6 cyl, correct?Ok, first, ckeck the intake manifold where it bolts to the head. The cylinder no. should be casted on the intake above each cylinder. One side should be 1-3-5 and the other 2-4-6. The firing order is also casted on the intake manifold whic is 153624. Good Luck. -Ned_
