You either have a light out or the relay is going bad. Turn you left blinker on and check your lights to make sure one isn't blown. This is most likely the reason its blinking fast.

What would cause the blinker to blink very fast and the left rear blinker doesn't work.

You obviously have a bad connection somewhere in the taillight. Some trucks it is a common problem and the taillight circuit board is the problem.

1999 Durango left blinker blinks really fast right blinker normal all bulbs are good and operate what's the problem

Do you have ta railer wiring harness? This could be causing the problem. Turn on all your lights and perform a walk around the vehicle to see if there is anything unusual going on with any of the lights. A light will dim when the turn signals are flashing if the wires are bad.

What would cause a burnt plastic smell under the hood of my 2013 Chevrolette Equinox?

Hi Mike, You mentioned the turn signal switch can cause burning plastic smell from under the hood (12 years ago on a Chevy)

I drive a 2005 Acura MDX Touring 4D SUV. Two weeks ago, I noticed a light flickering behind the VTM-4 button. At a stop light, I turned on the left blinker and it wouldn't stop blinking.

An hour before, my SUV would not start. When I turned the steering wheel slightly right, the car finally started. I was performing deliveries, so I couldn't take a chance for the car not to start again. Therefore, I just kept the car running to finish my shift.

When the blinker would not shut off, I had to end my shift. Once I arrived home, I just parked the car: The left blinker continued to blink. I tried to start the car again and it just clinked along with the blinking left turn signal.

The next morning, I attempted to start the car again. After a few unsuccessful attempts, I turned the steering wheel slightly right and it started. However, the left blinker remained on.

I tried to start the car once again and only heard clicking. All of a sudden, I smelled a burning plastic smell and a small amount of smoke came from under the hood.

I was thinking about pulling the fuse to the turn signal. I've had past challenges with starting the car and the VTM-4 and engine light light on. OBD codes produced a Bay 2 Sensor 2 O2 sensor. In the past, my left fog light got knocked off and the connectors are exposed.

Would greatly appreciate your expert advice on what I can do to start this car up and to cancel out the left turn signal. Thank you for your time.

'96 cadillac eldorado left blinker blinks fast

Have you checked to see if you have a blinker out? If you do, then thats your problem. If not, check your blinker fuses. Hope this helps, James Booth.

Left blinker blinks faster than the right. which the back left blinker does not work and front left blinks really fast.Right blinker works normal?

Flasher relays relies on bulb wattage for the speed of the blink.
You probably just have a blown bulb in the left rear blinker.:)

Sidelight flashes too fast

Replace the blinker. It is a small round cylinder under your dash. A common cause of this is that there is a burntout bulb on the back . Not the one thats blinking. You will see the signal indicator arrow blink really fast.If not then it is the blinker.
