When this happens there are a couple of things to do. First of all trace the ground wire back to where it is attached to the frame from that right light. Check to make sure that there is no corrosion or a weak connection there. That may have solved it. If not, remove the bulb and clean the bulb socket with the eraser end of a common pencil. If that doesn't solve it test that socket with a 12 volt tester to see if you have power there. If not, replace the socket.

My reverse lights are not working in my 97 vr4 galant

Hi there, I am not a mechanic, but there should be a switch by your gearbox close to where you put it in reverse that closes the circuit for the lights to burn when you put it in reverse. Hope it helps.

I have possible electrical wiring problems, my headlights recently both went out one by one low beams left then right then high beams the same also my turn signals do not work also reverse light. all bulbs...

I WOULD CHECK THE ALTERNATOR, POSSIBLY OVERCHARGING. I WOULD ALSO REPLACE 2 OF THE SMALLER BULBS BEFORE STARTING THE CAR. IF THE BULBS COME ON, FIX THE CHARGING SYSTEM & REPLACE THE REST OF THE BULBS

Brake light, reverse light and turn signal issues

Hello. The symptoms you are describing are likely due to a poor ground. Temporarily install a new ground wire by securing a piece of copper wire to the frame with a self tapping screw. Use this ground wire along with the hot wire to see if each of these lights works. If it does, trace the ground wire back to the frame, unscrew it and clean up the metal with emery cloth so you reestablish a good ground.

1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Reverse Lights do not work bulbs are fin

If this is an Auto trans, on the left side of the tranny just above the tranny pan is a switch. This is the reverse light switch, replace it.
The switch screws into the side and has a 3 wire connector to it.

Turn signals dont work 97 Geo Metro

There is probably something shorting the front turn signal wires; the car is supposed to turn the signal light circut on and leave it on if it detects a burned out light bulb. The flashers, however, are supposed to work normally no matter what happens.
Hope this helps!
