Run/Tire Issue Can run/flat tires be repaired or must they always be replaced? I have replaced the same back left tire 3 times in less than 2 years. It seems inappropriate that any car manufacturer cannot provide a car with tires that don't puncture so easily as to last much longer.

Run flats cant be repaired. You can however just replace all the tires with a different style tire like most all vehicles on the road and carry some fix-a-flat or a compressor and plugs for emergency needs till you can get this punctured tire patched.

I want to store my Corvette but have to drive 20kms to the storage garage. I have run flat tires an d was told not to drive on them at temperatures below +7 degrees C. Is this true?

Sorry but someone may be yanking your chain. Please tell that person that their headlight fluid is low lol. On a serious note, run flat tires handle the same temperatures as regular tires. They mount, air up, balance, repair and run in the same environments as well. I think the potential issue is the make of tire. Does your corvette have all season or summer tires mounted on it. In the colder winter climate. Summer tires will not perform well. Traction on snow and ice is poor and traction on clean asphalt is reduced. The rubber compounds in winter tires are softer than those used in summer tires. All season tires will perform well year round. I hope this helps. Please write back if there is anything else.

Low tire signal on instrument panel

Does your vehicle tell you which tire is low or just that you have a low tire somewhere? Is the lamp just on or flashing? What is your year--make--model? Was the tire put back in the same position on the vehicle?
Many manufacturers recommend breaking the bead at 90--180--270 degrees from the valve to avoid catching the edge of the sensor. If metal valve has a nut, with deflated tire, you can remove the nut and let sensor fall down inside tire to avoid damaging sensor, different manufacturers may recommend different procedures. I'm not saying the sensor is damaged or somebody did something wrong, I have no idea, at the moment. I don't even know your year--make--model?

How many kilometers can you drive with a tubeless tire puncture? will it harm the tire or the wheel? at what speed you can drive with the puncture?

Unless you have those "Run-Flat" tires, the answer is "No further than it takes you to safely get out of traffic. One should NEVER run on a flat if it can be avoided, as the sidewalls of the tire can be damaged very quickly. Even with run-flat tires, you still should change it ASAP, but you have a little longer before damage sets in. Your tubeless tires, completely flat and assuming 30 MPH, will probably start showing serious damage in a block or two. Note that tire sidewall damage can not be repaired.

Tire sensor fault on our 2006 Ford Explorer after new tires

2006 Ford Truck Explorer
NOTE: The tire pressure sensor training prcedure must be done in an area without radio frequency (RF) noise. RF noise is generated by electrical motor and appliance operation, cell phones, and remote transmitters.

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position
2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position three times, ending in the RUN position. Do not wait more than two minutes between each key cycle.
3. Press and release the brake pedal
4. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

Sequence:
1- Left Front Tire
2- Right Front Tire
3- Right Rear Tire
4- Left Rear Tire

5. Turn the ignition switch from the OFF position to the RUN position three times, ending in the RUN position. Do not wait for more than two minutes between each key cycle.
6. The horn will sound once and the TPMS indicator will flash if train mode has been entered successfully. If equipped, the message center displays "TRAIN LEFT FRONT TIRE." Place the magnet on the valve stem of the LF tire pressure sensor. The horn will sound briefly to indicate that the tire pressure sensor has been recognized by the TPMS module.
7.Within two minutes after the horn sounds, place the magnet on the valve stem of the RF tire pressure sensor. NOTE: If the TPMS module does not recognize any one of the four tire pressure sensors during the tire training procedure, the horn will sound twice and the message center (if equipped) will display "TIRE TRAINING MODE INCOMPLETE." If this occurs, the entire procedure must be repeated from Step 1.
8. Repeat Step 7 for the RR and LR tires. When the tire training procedure is complete, the horn will sound once and the message center (if equipped) will display TIRE TRAINING MODE COMPLETE.

This should help. For now, probably all Fords are like this. And I do not believe that Ford puts sensors in their spares (some GMs do).
Good luck

I don't know enough about the TPMS systems to give you any clue as to what is going on there.

However, it is generally an unacceptable practice to try to repair a tire that has a puncture in the sidewall. The flexing of the sidewall can cause the repair to fail. I would drive very carefully and slowly on a tire that has had such a repair.

Check your tire pressure and check the tread dept with a penny if you see lincolns head pretty well replace the tire and its best to replace 2 or 4 at a time.Especially with tps sensors. If there looks to be cracks on the tire then thats dry rot and should be replaced. If you have run flats then it have been over inflated. If you need a suggestion on tires try Falkens a little cheaper but good tires. If you got a little bit more money and want a really good tire try Bridgestone turanzas. I have them and havent met a pothole thats taken it yet

2002 E320. Premature tire wear on right rear wheel.

THese cars have a high speed rated tire and will almost always wear quickly. The right rear is the drive wheel (where the power goes when you give it gas) It will wear real quickly if you drive it hard. I would try rotating every 7500 miles (unless tire sizes are different as with the SL series) I sell a lot of tires on these cars and 25K is usually the limit.
