If all have failed I'd suggest checking the car fuses.

The fuse box is in the footwell on the drivers side if your car is RHD. It really sounds like a fuse. There is another fuse box in the engine bay but I think that only houses the relay. Try that secondly. The fact that all four are duff would indicate a power problem rather that a motor issue.

2000 Toyota corolla All passenger windows stopped working

I would check to see if the harness that comes to the master switch is powered. Make sure the ignition is on or vehicle running and check to see if you get voltage reading with multimeter. If no reading then you need the wiring diagram to see where that harness should be fed.

I disconnected the battery in my 2003 Toyota Corolla NZE briefly and upon reconnecting the power windows and central locking stopped working on all doors (from the driver's control panel). The problem...

It is not a big deal. All the windows need re-learn after the battery is disconnected. To re-learn do the following steps:
1. Sit on a driver's seat. Switch on the ignition.
2. Push the window button to open the driver's window and and keep the button pressed for 3 to 5 seconds after the glass touches the bottom and release the button.
3. Similarly do the same to close the window.
4. Do the same with all the remaining windows one by one.
5. Now after all the windows are re-learned, they should now be operated with a driver's master switches.
Good Luck and thank you for visiting Fixya.

I own a '99 Range Rover 4.6 hse. I recently reinstalled a battery that had gone dead. I cranked the engine but the alarm went off and the vehicle did not start. I am getting this message: gearbox fault. I...

Unfortunately, there is a trick to replacing the battery.
1) Open the Driver side door.
2) Open the Bonnet and take the battery cover off.
3) Use your remote to lock and unlock the car (keeping the driver side door open)
4) Pull the Negative Lead from the battery first, followed by the Positive Lead.
5) Change or replace with charged battery.
6) Closed down Bonnet.
7) Your windows, sunroof, and key FOB will not work... so follow the next steps.

7a) Insert your key, with door closed into the exterior lock on driver's side.
7b) While turning the key to lock the door, hold down the "lock" button on your remote for 5 seconds while in "lick" position
7c) Your remote will reset, and you should be able to use your remote now
7d) While driving, roll each window down twice. On your third attempt, you should only have to touch the window button, and the window will have reset

Enjoy your Rover!

Power locks and mirrors out. Driver power window out.

Your chevy uses two fuses for the system. The power lock actuators are on the 15 amp fuse inside the truck. The fuse for the switches (locks and mirrors) are under the hood. For 99 to 04 (I think those are the years) there is a TSB on replacing the 3 amp fuse under the hood with a 5 amp fuse because this is a well known problem of having these blow.

Your drivers side window is a different issue. If the rest are working your problem is in the motor or getting power to the motor. The wires that go from the body to the door often crack and break with the opening and closing of the door.
