Are there any other possible problems, or you are just not receiving spark at all now?

The coilpack could be dead and just need replaced. If you have a voltmeter or a test light, check the wiring on both sides of the coilpack harness to make sure it is receiving power.
I don't believe Subaru used ignitors past '99, but if they did, your should be located on the firewall behind the throttle body. Make sure it's plugged in and receiving power.

Coil packs do go bad from time to time. I had to replace mine in my
'98 Impreza a while back.

Goodluck!

What is the firing order on a 2015 Subaru Forester 2.5i

The firing order for the 2015 Subaru Forester 2.5i is 1-3-2-4. This means that the spark plugs will fire in the following sequence: first cylinder, third cylinder, second cylinder, and fourth cylinder.
The firing order of an engine refers to the sequence in which the spark plugs ignite the fuel in the cylinders. The firing order is determined by the engine's design and is important for ensuring that the engine runs smoothly and efficiently.
In a 4-cylinder engine like the 2015 Subaru Forester 2.5i, the cylinders are typically numbered from left to right, starting at the front of the engine. The firing order for a 4-cylinder engine is typically 1-3-2-4 or 1-2-3-4, with the spark plugs firing in a sequence that alternates between the left and right sides of the engine.

My 2003 Subaru Forrester with 89,000 miles was periodically shaking a lot the other day and I opened the hood and there was a spark coming from the coil pack. The repair place said I need a new one...

It's likely the coil. Subaru issued a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) on this issue. This is not a recall but you may want to show this to your Subaru mechanic or call Subaru after your repair to try to at least defray some or all of the cost for the repair. The link is below:
