The current third generation was introduced in mid-2013 as a 2014 model." My guess is the transmission from 2004 to 2009 mike be cross compatible. I would go to Autozone and ask or call the parts department at department at a local Madza dealer.

Had this happen to my 6, they had to remove the CD player and send it away to get the disc's out and they mailed them to me, installed new bose disc changer under warrenty no problems since.

I have a 2003 Mazda MPV that has the stereo that you could add a cassette deck or MD to...I do not have either, but there is a button for it. I found a guy on the internet that made a chip that plugs into the back of the radio and has a 3.5mm jack on it that will play when you push the cassette/md button on the radio. It is great....sounds just like one that came from the factory.

just replaced my 2006 Pontiac G6 GT Monsoon 6 CD changer with an identical model pulled from a totaled car.How do I reprogram it so it works on my car.

press eject #1 put cd in and press load then hit eject #2 load then repeat for #3 #4 #5 and #6 enjoy

It should be hit the unlock button 3 times, open and close the door 3 times, the locks will operate themselves twice. Hit the unlock button on the remote and it should program. you should try a remote from the dealer not from ebay.

I had the same problem i just decided to pull the whole thing out and get a new radio and single disc cd changer put in and so far it works fine.
