I have 2nd car 2005 mustang gt and it has less than 20,000 miles on it. First the fuel guage stopped working, next the speedometer gave a few very strange readings and now it reads way off the actual speed. Next the tempature guage read very high but motor did not seam very hot and no water loss. Then temp guage went back to normal and now sometimes reads normal sometimes never registers. So far tachometer and digital mileage counter working fine. I have taken battery cables off in an attempt to reboot computer and no affect. I cant believe that all these guage issues are seperate, especially with less than 20,000 miles on car. Can anyone tell me what is going on?

Really just maybe a new air filter. Lube all your grease fittings under the car. Check your alignment as well. All this could be done under 100 dollars. 20,000 miles is really not that much. As far as the speed, there are a few things that can cause it not to work. A fuse or a loose wire could happen. With just 20,000 miles, it should be working. Is it not working?
Could be a fuse my old sunbird would tell me it was going 60km an hour at a dead stop and when i started moveing it would drop to 0 replaced ALL the fuses and had no more problems
check the cable for the speedometer at the interconect. the cable is loose somewhere along the length of the cable. one back of he meter, 2, interconnect. 3, transmission case.
make sure the inner cable is square not rounded. if os, you need a new cable.
You better check the connector to the speedo and cluster, either you bent a pin or damaged the printed circuit, or the connector is not locked properly.
