How to change a heater blower on 1997 gmc safari mini van. I have I have never changed a heater blower on a gmc mini van were do i start?

If your talking about the blower motor, its under the hood. If you buy a delco part there will be instructions in the box. There is a plastic/rubber cover over the motor that needs to be cut with a very sharp knife. Anyway buy the delco part and you'll be able to figure it out from there. Good luck.

I have a gmc safari van that has the key stuck in the ignition it is running and will not turn offf. How do we stop the vehicle from running?

Probably the easiest and safest way is to go to the fuse box and pull the "ECM" fuse. If the fuse box does not have labels for which fuse is which, just start pulling and replacing fuses until the engine quits.

How do you remove an ignition from a 1997 GMC safari van?

If its just the Key and cylender, Remove airbag fuse and disconnect the yellow connector first if equipt..then the steering wheel with a puller..and then the metal steering wheel lock ring..Depress the ring first to remove the retaining ring and such ..note this is behind the airbag coil retained by a snapring..anyway remove the turn signal lever pulls out..then unscrew the 4 way flasher knob with a phillips screwdriver, then the 3 phillips screws in the white switch assm pull that forward enough to remove the torxs screw on the upper r/h side and the key and cylender should come out..Now if its just the Ignition switch you are talking about..Drop the steering column down enough to access the switch on the top..good luck.
