It's an awkward little job, but you might need to lift the car up to get accsess to the back of the air dam and the light units, then its just a case of a quarter turn on the back of the bulb holder, its the one with the wireing conecion on it!

Not easy - you have to get the lamp off of its fixings under the car, its a laying in the dirt job, you also have to remove the slash covers. ...... good luck.
Its not the simple on teh 1995 xj6, the rear axle needs to be dropped down. If you email me I will send you the factory info to replace them [email protected]

Did you check the vacuum to the new heater control valve, they usually give trouble.
Fuse for fog lamps will have nothing to do with the heater system.

yes they are interchangible except the front spoiler is different, but everything else is the same. (the front lower spoiler on the 93 has built in fog lamps)
Pretty easy repair and I could only hope his car is the same color....
