Check the distributor ignition module in the distributor. Also check to see if you have power going into the distributor. If you do, It's a safe bet that the distributor is bad. Check the cap and rotor if they haven't been changed in awhile. Order of cheapest to most expensive is actually. Power into dist. Cap and rotor, then Dist/module.

When the key switch is off and the engine is not running, do you have power to the coil ? Could be a problem with the key switch.

No fire in coil pack.

Was the timing chain damaged ?
Did you have spark from the coil before you replaced the other parts ?
Do you have battery voltage on the positive side of the coil with the key on and in crank mode ?
Is the coil wire not sparking, or are you not getting spark at the plugs ?
Is the distributor rotor turning when you crank the engine ?

Try replacing the plug wires. Unfortunately you can't replace just one, so you're going to have to replace the whole set.

take the coil wire off the distribiter cap an put a spark plug in it an have someone crank it to see if its fireing.if its fireing then the coil is good.

Your likelihood that it was your coil in the first place was slim. First thing to check is your fuel pressure. Not enough fuel pressure, your ECM won't let your coil fire.
