When we are driving out 2004 dodge Stratus everything sounds good until we turn. When we turn we hear a grinding noise coming from the front of the car. What could be causing this?

Depending on your description of grinding could be power steering pump if whinning noise if tight on steering check steering rods tie rods and also check cvr joints for front wheel drive also depending on the direction of turning and which way is worse check the struts might be binding on

Sounds like a front disc brake or a axel,check both sides

Could be a number of things but check your front stabiliser link pins for wear.

have the c v joints checked.

depends what you mean by funny sound.if its a grinding or squealing noise then you will need brake work.you should have it checked out.

sounds like powersteering pump,or rack and pinion,check fluid level

Have you right hub bearing checked ,This is a common problem on these stratus models :)

you have a bad front wheel bearing..jack up front of vehicle..put in neutral..block rear wheels..put 1 hand on front coil spring and rotate wheel..you will feel roughness in spring on side that wheel bearing is bad

i have a 2000 doge straus and i put two sensors in and it still wont shift any ideas out ther it was fine when parked a year ago so i know the tranaxle is good
