P1320 code appeared and we replaced the cam position sensor. It ran OK, but started rough until warm and next code showed #1 cylinder misfire. Replaced #1 coil and it ran great. Then later the engine light came on again and after engine shutoff it failed to crank--not even a click. Battery checked out OK. Next day (and since) it started up fine and runs great. P1320 code reads out again. Could it be ignition relay; solenoid; or does it need a starter?

P0300 is a random or multiple cylinder misfire, and P1381 is a misfire EBCM (Electronic Brake Control Module) or PCM (Powertrain Control Module) Since you mentioned replacing fuel components, it could be as simple as a fuel injector being clogged up causing a cylinder misfire. Have you checked your fuel injectors?

Look for spark jumping and tracking between 2&3 contact posts. excessive spark plug gaps can cause this.

I have seen these with leaking intake manifold gaskets causing this.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I am having the same issue on 2,4,6. I have replaced the coils. checked the intake for vacuum leaks. I am lost here let me know if you find anything and I will do the same.

Possibly the O2 Sensor or the Cam position sensor or the plug wires themselves.

replace the CKP and the truck will need to go to a shop and have the "crankshaft variation relearn" performed. the misfire may or may not go away, and that will need to be addressed also.

The concern is likely caused by the coil which sits on top of the spark plug. Your P0301 indicated misfire on cylinder 1. Your P0316 indicated it occurs on the first 1000 revolutions. Your P0171 indicated lean on bank one. Bank one includes cylinders 1,2,3 and 4. Your lean code is strange but could be related to misfire. I would recommend swap the coil on number one with number two. Clear the code and drive it. I would expect to see a P0302 which indicates the misfire traveled with bad coil. good luck.
