Check the timing marks twice and make sure crank is on top dead center.

if all that checks out ok i would check power to the coil(s) and the coils them selves... Also is the fuel pump make any noise you should here it prime.other than that make sure the gap from the sensors r proper if they are too far away the sensor will not pick up a reading.

My 1992 Ninety Eight Regency Oldsmobile was running fine. I parked the car and when I came back to start it 30 minutes later, it wouldn't start. I had to have the car towed. It is in the second garage now...

It is possible the timing chain could have jumped or stripped a gear.Have them to check compression.Could also have them check the cam and crank sensors.Let me know what they find.Good luck.

I have a 91 olds Ninety eight regency elite Intermittently dies code 41 comes up cam sensor circut replaced cam sensor still dies could it be the crank sensor? thank you Michael Dale

cam sensor is only half of the cam circuit, the other half of the cam circuit is the magnet on the timing chain. the cam sensor reads from the magnet every time the engine completes a revolution,
what happens is the magnet on the chain will break into smaller piece which makes the sensor harder to read every time the engine make a complete revolution.
most likely you'll need to replace the timing chain to fix this.
