if you have high volts from the coil, i would suspect the ignition module.

I would visually check for spark at the plugs, to make sure spark is getting to the plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse.
How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes?

SOURCE: 1989 Full Size Ford Bronco 302 won't start

This happend to me before. Go back and check the firing order and make sure the spark plug wires are in the right place. A Chilton auto repair book for your vehicle, available at many auto part stores are really helpful. Check the rotor and distributor cap also and make sure they seat properly. Assuming the distributor itself has not been removed it should start. If the distributor was removed from the vehicle and not installed in the exact position it was before (maybe a couple of notches off) you will have to find top dead center on the compression stroke on plug #1 and check to see if the rotor is pointing at the at plug wire #1 on the distributor cap. The distributor itself can be adjusted by loosening the locking nut and turning it slowly clokwise or counter clokwise to ****** or advance the spark. make sure all your vacume lines are in the right place also. All these procedures can be found in the book.

SOURCE: Wiper motor replacement for a 99 crown vic

I replaced the same part on a 1994 Crown Vic. There are a few bolts which go through rubber mounts on the firewall and that is how the wiper motor fits against the firewall. There is a clip on the wiper drive that must be pressed and slid off the wiper shaft. The hardest part was getting clearence between the engine and wiper motor. If I remember there was a way to turn the wiper case to clear the engine. I have asked myself why this was engineered like this? There is nothing important in the way that 3/4" of clearance could have been given for removal.

SOURCE: 1999 crown vic keeps getting air locked at the fuel rail?

check your fuel pressure
if you dont have enough pressure this will happen
when the fuel pressure is good the system will just push the air out through the injectors or the fuel return line

My crown vic turning over but wont crank never did this before

The most likely cause is a bad ignition coil, remove the coil wire from the distributor and attach an old spark plug to it, have a helper crank the engine, and see if the spark plug fires. If the plug does not fire then the coil is bad. If the plug fires, remove a plug wire from a spark plug and repeat the process. If no spark then the distributor cap may be bad? Also have you ruled out no gas???

Trying to locate spark plugs on 99 crown vic police interceptor engine

They should be mounted down in the cylinder heads, you'll need to remove each coil pack. A long extension and 5/8in spark plug socket and an extendable magnet will help. Also, you may need to remove the fuel rail to get to move the coil packs.

1987 crwn vic 5.0 l, 302, Engine runs for 5-10 minutes and shut down. Cranks but will not restart. After 12-24 hrs car will start again and run for 5-10 minutes and process repeats. When the car shuts off...

this is tough, two things I can think of, the first is the coil, if it is not ground good there wont be a good spark or a defective coil,,,, but i am leaning more to it being the timing chain jumped a cog,,, the computer would start the engine advansed but as the engine warmed it would ****** the spark ,,, after 5-10 min. it would quit,, this I would if it si a higher milage car.
