Possibly look at the electric plugs to the seat. See if the vehicle was prewired for that option( probably) then you also may have to ad a fuse to a empty circuit to accommodate the other 4 options.
You have to remove the seat from the Explorer. There are 4 bolts under plastic covers and unplug the wire connectors. Turn over the seat and look for the bolts that hold the motor and drive cables to the seat frame. While you have the seat out, get some "Molly" grease and lube the sliding seat tracks. Reassemble everything with the new parts and put the seat back in. If you've never done a job like this before, allow more than 4 hours to do the job
You will need a wrench to release the tension pulley then route the belt. There should be a diagram under the hood of the vehicle with the routing. Additional damage could have been done to the belt. I would recommend replacing the belt to be safe.
Have you removed the upper small part of the intake manifold? This is where the egr passages are. Take off 4 8mm headed bolts remove the egr from there first, and any vacuum lines. You will find 2 passages that are clogged with carbon. Clear them both and re-assemble.
hi mate just pull at cushions forward and bck forward undo the 4 screws from theluggage side trim unclip the cover on seat belt then undo mounting bracket thats what i done i hope it helps.
