Are ceramic pads and slotted rotors worth the extra money? I need to replace t-stat in my 2000 Volvo S70 GLT SE non-turbo, what temperature rating do i want for the new t-stat? Does this car have a PCV valve?

The ceramic pads are worth the extra money, due to the increase in the quality of the pads, slotted rotors, not so much. Original equipment is a 192 degree thermostat. If the car tends to run a little hot, a lower temperature one maybe considered. There is no PVC.

You must drain the tank remove from the car flush it out with pump and screen out of it you will need
a list or car jack and several stands change the screen and fuel filter also . Good luck

could be a bad outer tie rod end or lower ball joint on the front suspension, to check jack up wheel (suspension supported) grasp tire and move back and forth, if you feel loosness you have a worn component. if there is no looseness then you have either an bad wheel bearing (excessive runnout) or defective rotors

did you replace All discs front and rear? if not , replace the ones that you previously didnt
