It could be the fuel pressure regulator, the regulator is vacuum operated. When the diaphram ruptures gas is allowed to go directly into the intake manifold, through the regulator. So, when you shut the engine off, there is still pressure in the fuel system, with a ruptured diaphram the gas can leak through the vacuum line into the manifold. Thus, flooding the engine. If you pull the vacuum line off the regulator and it's wet with gas that's the problem. The part is about $100 from Napa Auto Parts.
Bad gas?i would try some injector cleaner concentrated see if that helps
