Does it have a fuel filter? I have a 1993 oldsmobile where is the fuel filter?

Answered in this link. Plus pictures on the Parts websites. Follow the fuel line from the tank. It is a small metal cylinder.

under car back by fuel tank along frame rail on the passenger side. its about 3.5" long and about 2" in diameter, with the fuel lines screwed into each end of the filter. its mounted to the frame rail by a bracket.

Inspect Fuel Pump Low Fuel Pressure.
Inspect Fuel Pump Relay - Faulty Fuel Pump Relay.
Inspect Fuel Injector Pressure Regulator - Faulty Fuel Injector Pressure Regulator.
Inspect Fuel Pump Strainer - Clogged or Dirty Fuel Pump Strainer.
Inspect Engine Control Computer - Incorrect Operating Information Being Delivered and Sent From The EEC.
Inspect Fuel Tank - Fuel Tank Empty.
Inspect Fuel Line - Fuel Line leaky/kinked/loose/disconnected
Inspect Fuel Fittings/banjo bolt(s) - leaky/loose fitting(s)

For your next posting, in 1993, Oldsmobile produced the Achieva with four engine types:

To find the engine type of your 93 Achieva, compare the 8th digit of your VIN code to the entries in the above table.

Poor fuel flow....clogged fuel filter or possibly a bad fuel pump...replace the fuel filter first.

Change the Fuel Filter first, than check the Fuel Pump.

Under the vehicle on the driver side, below seating area, mounted on frame in fuel line,

DIRTY FUEL INJECTORS STOPPED UP FUEL FILTER.BAD PLUGS WILL CAUSE HESITATION ON ACCELERATION.

It will be a few feet in front of the fuel tank inline attached to the fuel line

The fuel filter is located in the frame rail behind the right front wheel area.this will be on the inside of the frame rail.Make sure you relieve the fuel pressure before removing the filter lines.You will get fuel coming out when you remove the lines.Hope this helps.Good luck.

it should be on the left or right hand side of the engine, dependent on what side the drivers side is. you will have to go underneath the vehicle to see it and gain access to it.
